Mindi Abair Mindi Abair is not your father's jazz musician, but she is the daughter of one. This St. Petersburg, FL native is a graduate of the Berklee School of Music in Boston. She has played alto/soprano saxophone with the Backstreet Boys, Mandy Moore, Jonathan Butler, Adam Sandler, and Bobby Lyle, among others.
